Our Story

We are a women owned small business located in  Sacramento and our motto is  "Small Changes can lead to Big Impacts".

The humans behind DearEarth - Jayanthi Venkat and Usha Ambrish are friends that connected because of their love for gardening and composting.

We are Moms who grew up in India seeing how our previous generations lived a very sustainable life. Things have changed in the last 30-40 years and we feel that urbanites, even in India, have prioritized modern conveniences over our health and Mother Earth.

We understand that with busier lives and living far away from extended family, we all have to find ways to simplify our daily lives for stress-free living. We also strongly believe that modern conveniences and human/planet health don't have to be mutually exclusive.

It is the need of the hour to be mindful about our consumption, reduce our waste and seek products that are better for our health and Mother Earth.

We are both committed to finding better alternatives for everyday living because we strongly feel that our children also deserve a healthy place to live in.
